Interior
Advanced Interior Design Theme Return to top.
To master the ergonomics of the HS 250h, our engineers studied the intricacies of how drivers move, feel and react. Inside, elegance is perfectly matched to accessibility.
Sustainable Materials Return to top.
From the very start, the design of the HS Hybrid is conscious of its end. Wherever possible, we used materials that are more sustainable to produce and emit less harmful pollutants when their usefulness comes to an end. Whether castor seeds used in the seat cushions or kenaf fibers used behind the seats, we considered the environmental impact before, during and after the vehicle's lifespan.
HDD Navigation System
The available HDD Navigation System
[1]
uses a hard disk drive (HDD) to store maps and data, which allows it to operate much faster than previous DVD-based models. Additionally, it can recognize over 100 voice commands; provides a sharper, more colorful display; can map over eight million points of interest and display information in English, French and Spanish.
[1]
The Navigation System is designed to assist in locating an address or point of interest. XM® Radio, XM NavTraffic®, XM NavWeather™ and XM® Sports and Stocks require a monthly service fee and hardware. XM NavTraffic is designed to provide real-time traffic or alternative routes of travel; XM NavWeather is designed to provide real-time weather and forecasting information in your general vicinity and along your route of travel. Discrepancies may be encountered between the system and your actual location. Road system and weather changes may affect the accuracy of the information provided. Rely on your common sense to decide whether to follow a specified route. Detailed coverage not available in every city or roadway. Periodic Navigation updates available at an additional cost. Please see your Navigation System Owner's Manual for further details.
Voice Command Return to top.
The HS 250h is available with a new voice-recognition system that offers a
higher recognition rate than conventional systems. This new technology
makes it simpler to place compatible Bluetooth
[1]
phone calls and operating commonly used features like climate
control and audio. Choose the available Navigation System
[2]
and experience the convenience of voice-recognition technology with voice
command.

is both intuitive and ergonomic. Positioned n the center console, Remote
Touch is as natural to the driver's hand as a computer mouse. Customizable
force-feedback lets the driver know when desired commands are selected.
Advanced Audio Connectivity
Use the audio system in the HS 250h to control and integrate with compatible music players like the iPod®
[1]
, which you can charge via the USB connection, or connect wirelessly via Bluetooth®
[2].

Climate Control
Unlike conventional vehicles, the ultra-efficient climate control in the HS Hybrid isn't powered by the gas engine, but by electricity. Plasmacluster™ ionizer technology helps reduce airborne mold spores, microbes, fungi, odors, germs and bacteria.
Heated and Ventilated Front Seats
Using thermographic instruments, we monitored the temperature and blood flow of people sitting in conventionally heated seats and in seats with different heating zones. As a result, the available heated and ventilated seats focus warmth on specific areas, more efficiently warming the occupant. And, if it's warm outside, two internal fans distribute air throughout, lowering the surface temperature more quickly.
Trunk capacity
The trunk of the HS has a cargo capacity of 12.1 cubic feet
[1]
, generous dimensions made possible because the vehicle was designed from the ground up as a hybrid. This allowed Lexus engineers to move the hybrid battery forward, creating more room for whatever your trip requires.

Cargo and load capacity limited by weight and distribution.
